11 a.m. - 2 p.m. HORSE AND WAGON TOUR | White Hall Tavern, Potomac St.
Enjoy a ride through Lower Town, Harpers Ferry in a horse-drawn wagon. Tours provided by Country Roads Carriage. Sign-up sheet will be located on Potomac Street on the day of the event - first come, first served. (Note: wagons will have limited capacity; masks required.)
12 p.m. - 3 p.m. FIDDLIN' DAVE AND MORGAN
Like traditional troubadours, Dave Van Deventer and Morgan Morrison will bring music to the streets of Harpers Ferry with their blend of fiddle and octave-mandolin. Listen to their spirited Irish and Appalachian tunes and join them for a Christmas Carol or two!
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. SANTA CLAUS | Harpers Ferry Gazebo
Say hello to Santa at the historic Harpers Ferry Gazebo (Washington Street). To keep Santa safe before his big night, little ones will not be sitting on his lap, but will be close enough to tell him their wish list.
5 p.m. LUMINARIES LIT | Lower Town, Harpers Ferry
Watch Lower Town, Harpers Ferry light up at dusk when traditional luminaries are lit along our walking paths. Enjoy evening shopping in our decorated shops and wander the streets by candlelight.
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. HOLIDAY LIGHT TOUR
Beginning in Colonial times, candles were placed in windows as a sign of good news, to welcome weary travelers, or when a family member was away. The Edison Light Company expanded this tradition with the invention of Christmas lights. Residents of Harpers Ferry welcome visitors with a driving tour of their beautiful historic homes dressed up for the holidays. Vote on your favorites!
